I called Apple support this morning and spoke to an amazing gentleman named Anthony. I was enquiring about a past generation Apple TV remote and he helped me so much with trying to find it and it made my day. I would highly recommend to use Apple support for anything regarding there devices they are amazing. I did also have a little joke around about with the Apple TV remote about how much easier it would be if it had find my phone/device on it and the lovely gentleman Anthony said it’s a great idea and I should write a review. The Apple support people have always been wonderful . Unfortunately for years I blindly trusted Apple with everything . If I messed up I could always rely on support for support . Late Jan I lost my phone and I could not remember my Apple ID password . I had always trusted that apple would be able to help me out in such a situation . We place so much blind faith in them . For the first time I did not have insurance and I had to find almost a $1000 for a basic new iPhone . To my horror I had to create a new Apple ID . We pay the premium because our lives get bound to our iClouds. For the next month I try to take out Apple care . Meanwhile apple accepted 7 payments for subscriptions that are linked to my original Apple ID . They can’t reset my password but they can take my money even though they are aware that I can’t get access to my old Apple ID . My credit card can only be linked to one Apple ID . I can not use it on my current Apple ID . Which means that I can not pay for my Apple Care insurance until Apple is able to unlink my credit card from the Apple ID I can’t access because I forgot my password and I lost my phone .

Don’t bother reviewing as you’ll notice they don’t publish all the critical reviews. On photos app I’ve attempted 3 to 4 times for a critical review and it’s no where to be seen. We used to be able to access Genius Bar simply and usually the issues were resolved ( that we can’t do ourselves) now Genius Bar is like Fort Knox. All roads to navigate for assistance will lead you away from Genius Bar. Instead you’ll talk to some one and it will generally result in resorting to wipe your phone. End up wasting so much time reinstalling and it’s not really worth it. I’ve had apple devices for most of my life but it’s gone down hill and my recent issue with the horrendous os26 and ruining my videos is the nail in coffin. My warranty runs out next month. Not that there was any benefit to having a warranty or the rip off Apple care ( money for nothing) as Apple is slow to act and provide obstacles at every turn. I’ll look at A Google phone as Google photos seem to work well.

Apple confirmed my iPhone had a speaker fault and offered an Express Replacement. I was clearly told I wouldn’t be charged unless I failed to return the old device. But as soon as I accepted the replacement, Apple tried to charge me $2,299 upfront — even though I’ve already paid for the phone and have AppleCare.Here’s what makes this worse:I just buried both of my parents, spent over $25,000 on funeral costs, and I’m financially drained. I don’t have $2,299 sitting in my account for Apple to “hold.” Because of that, I’m now blocked from getting a phone I’m entitled to under warranty.And what’s Apple’s answer?Go into a store so they can try to fix it instead of replacing it — that’s the trick. If you can’t afford their hold, they push you into a store, backpedal on the replacement, and make you wait even longer. It’s a scam disguised as “policy.”When I spoke to Apple’s resolution team, they were rude, dismissive, and completely unempathetic. They didn’t listen, didn’t help, and made things worse.This is not customer support. This is financial coercion, and it targets people when they’re most vulnerable. I will be reporting this to Consumer Affairs, the media, and posting this on every platform possible.Shame on Apple for treating loyal customers this way.
