This is one of the simplest best working app on Apple devices but its all or nothing when it comes to privacy. In todays time it should be possible to share only a selected group with other apps on a per app basis (like Social apps) so we can choose how much Mark Z knows about us. Contact cards can be treasure troves for people who store more than contact details about others, making it harder to allow any apps to have access to it.

Contacts app will launch a blank screen, and then closes itself after a few seconds. Reinstalling / Restarting does not help. Running IPad mini (A17 Pro) / iOS 18.4.1

New Contact Display Format

The new display format has the two fields Job Title and Department shown entirely in caps. This upsets my use of caps and small letters. Now I am compelled to open the Contact to see the two fields.
