Say goodbye to writer’s block

Dream it, see it
The perfect image doesn’t exist without Magic Media’s Text to Image feature! This crafty AI generator creates a unique image from just a few words. On Canva’s Home tab, tap the menu bar and select Apps, then search for Magic Media. Describe the image you want, select a style and aspect ratio, and Magic Media will generate it for you. “A tabby cat driving a convertible” and “An alien shopping for groceries” were some challenges we set the tool – and we weren’t disappointed with the results!

What photo-bomber?
An unwelcome onlooker in your blissful holiday pic? Let Magic Eraser sort them out. Tap your image, select Effects from the Toolbar and choose the Magic Eraser from the menu. Then, brush over the object you want to remove to make it disappear. It’s useful for marketing content, too. For instance, use it to create more space in an image for a headline or make an out-of-stock item vanish.

Add some pizazz
Is your sun-induced squint ruining an otherwise stellar shot? Add a pair of sunglasses to your photo with Magic Edit. To find it, follow the same steps as Magic Eraser above (choose Magic Edit instead of the eraser), then brush over the area where you want to see the change, describe the item in the text box and watch your photo transform. To avoid adding a pair of ’90s wraparounds however, be specific when describing what you want, such as “small black reflective aviators”.

Visualise your idea in seconds
Looking to create something super specific? Whether it’s a social media post for your jewellery store’s mid-year sale, an invitation to an ’80s dress-up party or a presentation on your next big pitch, create it in an instant with Magic Design. Briefly describe your ideal for your design in the search toolbar on the Home tab to receive bespoke Magic Design suggestions, along with other relevant search results within Canva’s templates.

Design in multiple languages
If you want your designs to go global, check out the nifty Magic Switch tool. The AI-driven feature can translate the text in your design into more than 130 different languages. To get started, choose your image, tap the ellipsis at the top of the screen, tap Magic Switch and choose Translate, then select the language you want. To make sure the translation is as accurate as possible, use short and simple sentences.
