No 7 day trial

App said I could have a 7 day free trial but I was billed right away. App doesn’t meet my needs and now I’ve already been billed for a year.Update - I did already contact the app developer prior to this response. They (similar to this response) used the “blame the customer approach” despite me providing screenshots of the link I followed from their site for a 7 day free trial as well as screenshots of the account I just set up that day. It was like talking to a brick wall. After several emails back and forth where they ignored everything I sent and insisted their “hypothesis” was correct (that I had already had a free trial previously) although they admitted they couldn’t actually check to confirm that, I contacted Apple support. They were very helpful and refunded the money. They also agreed I had just set it up that day. Don’t waste your time! These guys are unethical.Update # 2 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣....oh wow. “We apologize that you didn’t see these terms”. I saw them clearly and sent screenshots to back up my “eyesight”. I clicked on “free 7 day trial”, set up an account and then was billed immediately. What a joke. Good thing Apple retuned my money! FYI, Apple also said it was a developer issue and I should contact the developer directly, however they dealt with it when I sent them screenshots of the developers lack of resolution.

We are sorry to that you missed the terms. We did investigate this for you and deemed that you had taken out one of our promotional offers that did not come with a trial. We realise that you had clicked on the 7-day free trial button, but this offer may pop up at any time. We do state on the subscription that no trial will be available. I can see that we offered you a trial code to use instead, after you received your refund from Apple. This offer does still stand if you'd like to pop us a reply to the email. We are sorry you feel you did not receive support with this. We advised you on each of our email responses to contact Apple about a refund as the billing is through their platform which we do not have access to.

My kid keeps asking me what is this? Where is the Koala? At least a hundred times. Those stories make my kid keep asking questions and keeping him awake. Save your subscription money and buy a real story book might helps kid to sleep better.

We do not recommend the use of screens at bedtime and the app has been designed so that the screen can be closed with nothing to be viewed, just audio to listen to. We also have a range of music and sounds that can be used if the stories are not helping.

We are sorry to hear you had problems using the app. The app is free to download and has some free content to use so it doesn't automatically make a charge. Charges are only taken when a subscription has been activated or a trial used and not cancelled within the specified timescale in the terms.
